ENaira is the digital currency of Nigeria issued and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

ENaira and Cash are both fiat versions. Depending on your circumstances, you can trade using one or both, contact your bank to transfer money to your eNaira wallet.
You can link your e-wallet to your bank account or make a prepayment. In addition, an integrated security token system ensures that your information is not read by fraudsters, as tokens are generated randomly with every payment.
Enaira can be exchangeable among users via peer-to-peer method. It is universal - everyone can get it and it doesn't yield interest.
To register on the eNaira Speed Wallet, you must enter the following details exactly as they were recorded when registering for BVN;
First name, last name, date of birth, country of origin and email address.
Your bank is waiting to help you validate and update your BVN data to ensure smooth registration on the eNaira platform.
eNaira has a different level for customer, zero-level customers - customers without an existing bank account and without a verified NIN.
Minimum Account Opening Requirement:
Phone Number, Daily Transaction Limit of N20,000.
Maximum Cumulative Daily Balance of N120,000.
First - Customers level who do not have a bank account.
Minimum Account Opening Requirement:
NIN, Daily Transaction Limit of N50,000.
Maximum Cumulative Daily Balance of N300,000.
Second tier - customer with minimum spend option Minimum requirement to open an account: BVN, Daily transaction limit of N200,000, Maximum accumulated credit of N500,000.
Tier Three - Customer with regular spend option Minimum requirement to open an account: BVN, Daily limit for transactions of N1,000,000 Maximum amount.
Fourth tier customers (merchant/store level) Minimum account opening requirements: Full KYC details, as stipulated in CBN payment rules / BFT regulations, Daily transaction limit of N1,000,000 and Maximum accumulated balance of Unlimited.
Steps to open an enaira account for individual, these are the minimum Open credentials (i.e. NIN, BVN or KYC/AML information, depending on customer tier).
Enter further identification data (eg name, place and date of birth, phone number, passport photo, email and password) Minimum identification is validated. You will receive an email to activate your wallet then login into your account.
Steps to Open an eNaira Account for a Company.
Enter and confirm the bank invitation code. Enter minimal identification data (i.e. complete KYC as stipulated in CBN Anti-Cash Rules/CFT).
Enter your TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number). TIN is checked, entering other identification details (e.g. email, password, company category, legal company name).
Requests will be verified by the financial institution and after that the eNaira wallet has been created and activated.
Merchant and financial institutions receive notifications then login with MD code.
Enter your account (TSA/T24 account). The eNaira wallet has been created pending verification by CBN.
CBN, check and notify MDA to continue the top up process.
