Last Friday, I was preparing an article on five ways to make millions in web development, but ended up writing on six ways to make millions.

This article is an eye opening one and I believe that the information I shared their will be very useful to you. 

Even if you are not interested in web development, you can apply these principles in your company for a good return on investment.

6 WAYS TO MAKE MILLIONS IN WEB DEVELOPMENT

•  1. Creating a professional website for clients

The most common way to make money in web development is by developing professional websites for clients. 

Professional websites don't come cheap. They require a lot of skill and creativity. So, if you have the skills, you will definitely make a lot of money. 

When I talk about professional websites, I'm not referring to the regular WordPress websites that most people can design. I'm talking about websites that require good programming skills.

Websites like banking sites, school administration sites, transportation and logistics sites, airline sites, money / donation sites like MMM, e-commerce sites like Jumia and Konga, bitcoin administration sites, etc. 

That’s the skill I teach my students. Learn to code professional websites and make money, you can make millions of dollars. 

Follow these steps to quickly make millions of dollars developing a professional website for your clients.

• Don't work alone, work with others

If you consistently apply your skills and are good at what you are doing, there is much more you can do than you alone. So, in order to meet up, you have to work with other experts. 

I already said that the main reason I teach web development is to get professionals to work with me. 

If you follow my WhatsApp status for a long time, you will find that I rarely advertise web development services. Instead, i promotes online web development training.

If I need to focus on promoting my web development services, I probably won't have too many contracts and time to get all the work done. 

Even if I work with several people, working with my students alone will make my collaboration smoother and more flexible. 

When my first students graduate, I will have more hands to meet more requirements and by so doing millions will flow.

So you don't need to work alone, you need to meet other people in order to work.

• 2. Creation/sales of templates.

If you want to make millions of dollars in web development, you should use your free time to create templates for popular websites. 

Make a list of the most searched websites. Websites such as e-commerce websites, company websites, school administration websites, bitcoin administration websites, church administration websites, etc. 

Start by creating samples of the website above. Don't wait until you have a client before you start building a sample website, creating samples, and saving them. Show samples to potential clients.

The easiest way to get your customers to pay you a good price is to display a great sample of your paste work to them. 

If you've already made samples, you can complete a month-long project in a matter of days. 

Imagine getting a job of #300,000 done in just 3 days, or 10 million naira job in a week. If you have a template, you can do more.

In addition to showcasing templates to attract customers, you can make a lot of money selling them.

So many web developers want to buy an already developed website rather than start from scratch. 

The advantage to this is that you can sell the template to an unlimited number of people. 

Imagine selling your templates to over a thousand people. For example, let's say N100k each. Do mathematics. It's N100 Million. If you sell it at N50k, you will make 50 Million.

You might argue that it will be difficult to sell a template to thousands of people. If you are very active in marketing and targeting the whole of Africa and beyond, you can increase your sales.

But do it in moderation. If you sell a template to 100 people for N50k per person. That's 5 million naira. isn't it lucrative?.

• 3. Make millions from your vision web app

After researching the history of popular apps like Facebook, YouTube, and even our paystack, I found something similar in their stories. 

The founders had a vision of solving a specific problem in society. They use their programming skills to develop applications that will advance their vision. 

They raised funds, popularized their vision, and finally developed their vision, and they are now generating billions of dollars in revenue. 

You can do the same. If you want to make millions in web development, consider developing one or more applications that can solve the problems of millions.

To promote your app, you need to develop a fundraising strategy. You will need to gain a good knowledge of digital marketing. 

Africa has many problems. If you can develop an application that can solve one or two big problems, it will definitely sell if your application becomes popular. 

It can take years, but when the money starts coming in, it reaches billions of dollars. 

Jack Ma, founder of the Alibaba Group, said they haven't benefited from Alibaba.com in over two years. They keep spending, strategizing, and promoting. 

Today, Jack Ma's net worth is $ 42.5 billion.

If you can create and consistently promote an app that solves millions of problems, you will end up making billions of dollars. 

I will definitely make such apps with my students in the future.

• 4. Make millions Managing Websites

Another way to make a lot of money is to manage people's website. After developing many websites, I realized that most people just own a website and leave it dormant.

Some people think that having a website on it's own can make money. If they were not able to get client through the website, they tend to abandon the site.

As a web developer and digital marketer, you can help them. You can propose to manage their websites and generate revenue for them. 

If you're good at digital marketing, you can do it.

You can effectively manage a website by adding more features to the website, create a blog section, about the products section and also advertised on it, and direct people to your website. 

You can also advertise on social media and drive visitors to the website.

You can create so many innovations depending on the type of product that the site is promoting. 

In order for as many people as possible to transfer their site for you to management, you must be good with writing proposal, presentation and objection handling.

Remember, you don't have to work alone. If you can't give good proposal, hire someone who can. If you are not good at blogging, hire someone who knows how to blog.

If you don't have the money to hire these people, work with them and share the results. 

Imagine managing 20 websites. For example, if you make $50K per month from each website, you will be earning a total of $1M per month. 

Don't assume people aren't paying up to N50k per month to manage a site. If you can make more income, they are willing to even pay more. 

If you are good at what you are doing and you know how to target the people you can pay you well, you will succeed.

• 5. Write a book on web development

 If you’re good with writing, you can write books on various aspects of web development and sell. Even if you’re not good with writing, you can still write.

One of the easiest ways to write a book in this era is by compiling your social media post and converting them to a book.

I’ve written up to ten ebooks. Almost all of them are compiled from my social media posts.

This particular article, HOW TO MAKE MILLIONS IN WEB DEVELOPMENT, will soon be compiled into a book.

Sometime ago, I lectured on HOW TO RAISE MONEY TO PAY FOR EXPENSIVE COURSE. I will soon compile it into a book, as well.

If I decide to sell the ebooks, I will make money. Even if I decide to give some of them out for free, I will still make money from them.

Either way, it’s a win win!

Many people who wants to go into web development were asking so many questions.

Questions like how to make money with the skill, how to get paying job abroad, how to get started, the programming languages to learn.

So many questions are seeking for answers. So, if you can write books to answer those questions, many people will be willing to buy.

• 6. Teach People

If you’re good with teaching just like me, you can consider setting up your own academy. There is money in teaching especial in our time where social media has given us the privilege to teach unlimited number of people without meeting them physically.

I have students in almost all states in Nigeria. Most of them have never met me but they believe so much in me.

You know why, I’m a gifted teacher. I’m naturally compassionate. When I teach, my intention is to make you heroic. I want all my students to prosper.

One more reason why I’m excelling in online training is because I try my best to be honest. Some online trainers are fraudulent. They take advantage of the fact that their students can’t easily meet them physically and defraud them.

Listen, if you truly want to succeed as an online trainer, you must be very straight-forward.

Few days ago, I got a call from a prospective student, he explained to me that someone wants to sponsor him but he wanted me to inflate the cost in order to get more money from the person.

Though, his reasons for trying to inflate the cost seemed very reasonable but I found it difficult to dance to his tune, as I didn’t want to be dishonest.

Thankfully, I was able to come up with a straight-forward and smart way to handle the situation without being dishonest.

He was shocked at my honesty and extremely impressed at my smart idea. Wisdom and honesty will lead you far.

If you’re born to teach, build an online institute. Physical training is dying fast. It will continue to die.

Nigerian economy does not favour physical training especial if you’re not capable of investing millions in it.

However, I must warn you. If you’re not good with teaching. If you’re not the patient and compassionate type, don’t teach. Exploit other aspects of web development.

Teaching is like a calling. Not everybody can do it well.
